Beach Happens

Return to Maui in the follow up to the USA Today best seller, Life's a Beach. Jamie K. Schmidt's Beach Happens is the perfect Hawaii staycation filled with snarky laughs and sexy romance. Attorney Michaela Harris is on her honeymoon-Alone. After being jilted at the altar, she takes off to Maui, only to lose her luggage and be stranded without a hotel room, thanks to her ex-fiance canceling the reservation. The sympathetic staff at the Palekaiko Beach Resort look the other way when Michaela makes a deal to stay in a room that's being renovated until a better one is available. She hits the surf to forget about her problems, but when she encounters a shark, she wonders if things will ever get better. Billionaire Marcus Kincaide is about to lose his resort. No renovations will turn this around, not with his arch enemy out to destroy him. Marcus has got to keep his head in the game, but the mysterious and pretty wahine in the teeny bikini he rescued from a shark is filling his mind with desires that demand his attention. He figures a hot, intense and short affair is in order, so he can get back to the business of saving his livelihood. What he didn't figure was falling for her and giving his enemy just what he needs to take him down."
