Christmas at the Cyprus Cafe

With so few rural doctors to go around, Jess Frobisher is on the verge of burn-out, but she continues to push herself. The people she’s come to know so well need her. She’s grown fond of the small town of Bindarra Creek and its close community, and with her contract about to end, leaving will be a wrench she never expected. But the opportunity to further her career is too good to pass up.Before his life was derailed following a car accident, Nic Levonis had plans to become a partner in his mate’s spray-painting business and move out of his flat behind the family business, but he’s still helping his parents run the Cyprus Café and his plans remain on hold. There’s got to be more to life than flirting with customers and going to local dances; more than baklava and Mama’s pastitsio, and Nico is determined to make changes to his life before the new year arrives. One morning while out running, Nic sees Jess collapse on the track ahead of him. He’s liked her since she oversaw his recovery after the accident, but that’s all there was, but when he takes her home, his mother’s face lights up at the sight of the pretty doctor in his arms and he knows he’s in trouble. Or is Jess the change his life wants?Despite Thea and Stavros trying their hands at matchmaking, and friends and family joining in with hilarious results, Nic and Jess begin to see each other in a new light. And maybe a new future together.Christmas celebrations at the Cyprus Café have never been so intense or held such importance for the Levonis family.
