MICHIGAN FALL

What would you do if there was an EMP attack today? How would you survive, not only against the oncoming winter but against those who are desperate or greedy and want what you have? What would happen when all of the checks and balances that support the law are gone?Because of her semi-rural location and a handful of good neighbors, Rose Winters and her family are better off than those in the bigger cities, but she’s not a prepper. At best, she’s a couponer, a canner, and a protective mama bear when she has to be…Derek Barnes, a former soldier and recovering alcoholic past his prime with an old injury, PTSD, and carrying a heavy burden of guilt, he considers Rose and her kids family and will do whatever he has to do to keep them safe…Ben Hart, a police officer who never believed his brothers in blue would betray their oaths—or him—when America fell. Battered in body and soul, he leaves what’s left of his precinct and takes a stranger up on an offer of shelter until he recovers enough to try to get to his sister up north.Three ordinary people and those around them have to figure things out fast with winter setting in and the supply chain suddenly non-existent.
