Angel of Horror

Laura 'Red' Pratt fought her way through the ranks to become a member the most elite task force in the country. Shamed and ridiculed by her parents and society because of her weight and deafness, she's earned the nickname Red honestly with her ‘take no crap’ attitude. Joe 'Highlander' MacCleod is a SEAL to the bone. His men look up to him and tease him about his womanizing ways. Women are like his missions—enjoyable, varied, and plentiful to keep his blood pumping. But it’s always to the next one. Then a Marine comes home to a vicious fight, two end up dead, and the blame is squarely on his shoulders. Joe races to save his friend, and finds himself forced to work with an irresistible Red. Together, they just might be able to solve the case, if the attraction between them doesn’t derail the investigation.
