A Soldier's Last Wish: Heart of a Wounded Hero

MAXTake care of them. Those were the last words my friend said as we lay in the dirt beside each other, bleeding from our wounds. I made it. Sam didn't. All I can do for him now is take care of the two people he loved the most in the world. But when I meet Livvy, and her sweet little boy Alex, I quickly realize I'm in danger all over again, and this time it's my heart on the line. Can I keep my promise to a man who paid the ultimate price and still follow my heart? Or should I walk away from what might be my only chance at love? The Heart of the Wounded Hero series was created to pay tribute to and raise awareness of our wounded heroes. Each of the over eighty authors involved have contributed time, money, and stories to the cause. These love stories are inspiring and uplifting, showing the sacrifice of our veterans but also giving them the happily ever after they deserve.By increasing awareness through our books, we believe we can in a small part help the wounded heroes that have sacrificed so much.Thank you for reading!
