His Kind of Love

JoelBeing homeless isn't the worst thing that's ever happened to me, but it's only temporary, or at least that's what I'm trying to remind myself the night I almost get car jacked and robbed. Thankfully, I'm saved by a handsome stranger who offers me a place to stay until I can get back on my feet. It should be unsettling...that he knows my favorite foods, my favorite books, how I want to be touched. I have a thousand questions, but I know better than to ask because I don't want to lose this life or this man.Gabriel I'm a patient man.I'm a rich man.Above all else, I am a dedicated man.I've waited and lingered, moving people around like chess pieces on a board until everything lines up just so. The right strings have been pulled, the traps set, but the games have gone on long enough. I am tired of waiting and I'm ready to bring home what's mine.I've been keeping secrets, and Joel has learned to love my lies, but can he learn to love me as much as I love him in return?
