Pursuing Pegasus

PaytonAnother temp assignment complete, I needed a new job to cover the rent so I could take care of my ailing mom. Between dodging my shady landlord and spending this week’s last few pennies on ice cream to soothe my soul, I ran into—or rather got run over by—one of the city’s hottest, most eligible bachelors, right in the grocery store. And as luck would have it, he needs a nanny.Sight practically unseen, I took the job. He accepted my terms with ease, and I couldn’t say no to the money. But when things between us start to heat up, I don’t know if I can juggle the baby, my mom, and the overwhelming feelings I’ve developed for him.JaxA baby dropped on my doorstep was not how I’d planned to start a family. In fact, I hadn’t really planned on it at all. But when the beautiful woman I nearly took out in the grocery store agrees to be my nanny, I can’t help but picture us as a family. With a looming paternity suit, a baby mama I can’t even remember, and my new live-in nanny catching my eye at every turn, it seems chaos has become my new normal. If only I could get her to see how perfect our little family is.
