Coming Home

Shelby Collier and Benjamin Shay were best friends growing up. They dreamed of being lifelong mates. Even through the awkward middle school years and into high school it was always Shelby and Ben. The night before he left for boot camp, Ben broke the news that he had joined the military. There was no warning or discussions, he simply turned his back and walked away from Collier with no plans on ever returning. That was nine years ago. Shelby held on to Ben all these years, writing to him every day to try to fill the void he left behind in her heart. With the encouragement of her sisters, she’s finally ready to face the truth. Ben is never coming home. It’s time to let go and move on with her life. Now, a devastating accident at the ranch has Ben home for emergency leave. It’s a small town and only a matter of time before he crosses paths with the woman he ran from so long ago. Lies and secrets will unfold. Old feelings will reignite, but can Shelby ever forgive him for leaving and turning his back on their love and friendship? And will Ben be able to accept her once he learns the truth of the secret she’s kept from him all these years? They’ve been given a second chance at love, but can they mend the broken promises of their youth to find their way back to each other again?
