A Mother's Day: A Short Story

AN ORIGINAL SHORT STORY FROM THE CELEBRATED AUTHOR OF THE BESTSELLING NOVEL HERE, HOME, HOPE ....Three mothers. Three sons. One day that changes them all forever.Five Star Reviews!"Nicely written - very quick read - sad moment but wonderfully heartwarming! Ms. Rouda - you're Light Blue!" ~ Stacy Eaton, author "Kaira Rouda does an amazing job of weaving three disparate tales together by uniting them around a single shocking event as observed by three very different types of women, all at different stages of motherhood. Her voice is authentic and each story is engaging and leaves you wanting to know more. It was a perfect story." ~ Hobson, Amazon Reviewer "I enjoyed the short story which delves into the lives of three different women who are mothers - each of them is at a different stage of motherhood (a new mom with a baby to a mom of a teenage son) and each has boys (I have two sons myself). We get a peek into the lives of these three women on Mother's Day and a shocking event that happens that they are all tied to in some way - a life-changing event - and eventually see how the three moms are connected (think like the movie CRASH with Sandra Bullock where the characters are slightly connected). For those who enjoy it, dive into the author's full-length novel called HERE, HOME, HOPE. Both are great reads for women who enjoy women's fiction novels that are both inspiring, real and well written." ~ WriterCrys, Amazon Reviewer(beach reads, award winning, Amazon bestseller, motherhood, women's fiction, mothers and sons)
