Chosen for the Warrior

When nineteen-year-old Victoria Walton runs away from home to avoid being forced to marry the man chosen by her cruel stepbrother, she is terrified that she will be caught and harshly punished. The last thing she expects, however, is to be tracked down by a huge, brutishly handsome Taar-Breckian warrior, tossed over his shoulder, and carried aboard his ship despite her best efforts to resist.Captain Allik Loarn has had his eye on Victoria for a while, and he plans to claim her as his mate. But the headstrong little human will need to learn obedience. When her disregard for his commands puts her in danger during their journey, Allik doesn't hesitate to take Victoria over his knee for a painful, embarrassing public spanking, and her refusal to cooperate with the ship's doctor during a routine medical exam earns her an even more thorough, humiliating punishment.Despite her shock at being treated in such a shameful manner, Victoria cannot deny her body's response to Allik's stern correction and bold dominance, and it isn't long before he takes her in his arms and masters her beautiful body completely. But when Earth's tyrannical leaders set out to bring Victoria back home as a prisoner, will Allik do whatever is necessary to protect her?Publisher's Note: Chosen for the Warrior is a stand-alone novel which is the second book in the Brides of Taar-Breck series.
