Bodyguard

She deserves better, but fate doesn’t care. I get the trash missions, the kind of crap any errand boy could handle. So when I’m called to do a transport, I’m not surprised. Until I see her. She has class and curves, not to mention legs for days. Even on the run for our lives, it’s Alex who challenges me, who keeps me on my toes. This isn’t the mission I expected. It’s so much more. She’s more. Alex is stuck with me as her bodyguard. But I know it’s more than that. Alex is my mate, or she will be if we can work together long enough to survive.
